Offers of $30 billion value Applied Intuition at the same 36 times estimated revenue as its 2025 round
Applied Intuition is fielding offers that value it at $30 billion or more, double its $15 billion valuation of June 2025. Estimated recurring revenue doubled too, so the multiple stays near 36 times.
The Investor · Invest desk
Applied Intuition's annual recurring revenue is estimated at $830 million for 2025, up from $415 million in 2024; the source does not name who made the estimate. Its June 2025 round valued the company at $15 billion.
| Figure | Value | Note | Claim |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annual recurring revenue, 2025, estimated | $830 million | 11 | |
| 2024 revenue, estimated | $415 million | 15 | |
| June 2025 valuation | $15 billion | 4 |
What happened
- The Information reported that the offers are likely to push Applied Intuition into raising about $1 billion within the next few months.
- The June 2025 round was a $600 million Series F combined with a tender offer, according to the company's press release at the time.
- Annual recurring revenue is estimated at $830 million for 2025, up from $415 million in 2024, though the source does not name who made the estimate.
Why it matters
- What it limits constraint The doubling in value rests on an unattributed revenue estimate, so the price is only as firm as that figure.
- What doesn't add up contradiction The defense framing in coverage of the offers sits against a revenue multiple that has not moved from the June 2025 round, so the data do not show a defense premium.
- What it costs cost A $1 billion raise at $30 billion costs existing holders about 3.3% if priced post-money, while the company takes in capital equal to 83% of everything raised so far.
- Who's exposed exposure Lumpy, slow-to-award government contracts are a risk to the recurring-revenue growth that a 36 times multiple assumes will continue.

Divide the $15 billion valuation from June 2025 [4] by the $415 million of recurring revenue estimated for 2024 [11] and the multiple is 36.1 [15]. Divide the $30 billion in the reported offers [1] by the $830 million estimated for 2025 [11] and it is 36.1 again [16]. Revenue doubled [12] and the valuation doubled.
Both inputs deserve suspicion. The revenue figures are estimates, and cryptobriefing did not disclose whose, or how revenue divides between automotive and defense [11]. The offers come from The Information, which cited people who have spoken to company leaders [1], and cryptobriefing dates the report to October 13, 2026 [2]. Without a 2026 revenue figure, the multiple on current revenue cannot be computed (it falls below 36 for any growth since 2025).
Cryptobriefing frames the offers around the push into autonomous military vehicles [8]. The company does hold Army contracts and $171 million of Defense Department simulation-testing contracts [13]. It also announced a Honda partnership last week [5] and serves 18 of the top 20 global automakers [7]. A premium for defense exposure would show up as a multiple above what June 2025 paid, and on these estimates there is none. We think most of the doubling is revenue. The counter-case is that June's multiple already contained a defense premium, in which case a flat multiple says only that the premium held. We would be wrong on the first reading if the $830 million estimate proves too high, because $30 billion would then be a higher multiple than $15 billion was.
One company's offers cannot show that capital is concentrating in autonomy and defense software as a category.
The reported $1 billion raise [3] would sell about 3.3% of the company if it were priced post-money at $30 billion [9]. It equals 83% of the roughly $1.2 billion raised in total so far [10][6]. June's $600 million included a tender offer [4], so the share of any new round that is fresh cash for the company is a term worth reading when it appears. Cryptobriefing lists lumpy, slow-to-award government contracts among the risks [14].
What to watch
- Whether a round is announced at or above $30 billion, and how much of any $1 billion is primary capital rather than a tender.
- Any 2026 recurring-revenue figure from the company, since flat revenue would hold the multiple at 36 and growth would lower it.
- A revenue split between automotive and defense, or new defense awards beyond the $171 million of Pentagon simulation contracts.
