$TRUMP memecoin ties seats at its third Trump dinner to 43 days of holding a token down 97%
Fight Fight Fight LLC will seat the top 185 time-weighted holders of $TRUMP, a token about 97% below its peak, at a November 22 dinner with Donald Trump. Earlier rounds drew leaderboard buying that unwound once invitations went out, so the November 12 snapshot will test how much of the token's bid is for the seat.
The Investor · Invest desk
What happened
- Rank comes from a time-weighted leaderboard that counts holdings from September 30 through a snapshot period ending November 12.
- The gala announcement lifted the price about 10% to $2.25 before it sank back toward recent levels, far below an all-time high of about $74.
- Earlier events hosted 220 holders in May 2025 and about 297 at Mar-a-Lago in April 2026, making November's 185 seats the smallest list so far.
Why it matters
- What it costs cost The holders chasing seats bear six-figure price risk for 43 days, while the project's outlay is one dinner and a set of gifts.
- Who's exposed exposure Because rank is time-weighted, a buyer arriving now gets a weaker spot than holders from September 30 and is still holding when earlier rounds turned to selling.
- What it sets up precedent The failed Clarity Act took the proposed limit on officials' digital asset ties and Trump's blind-trust offer with it, so the next holder event faces scrutiny but no new limit from that bill.

Public Citizen prices its CLARITY ethics demand at $4.7bn of investor lossesConfirmed3 publishers
Holdings count from September 30 until a snapshot closes on November 12 [9]. That is a 43-day window, and the dinner comes 10 days after it shuts [25]. The token trades between $2.04 and $2.07, against a high of around $74 shortly after its January 2025 launch [11], or about 97.2% off the top [19]. The wallets competing for seats each hold hundreds of thousands of coins, according to the event website's tally as reported by CoinDesk [21]. At $2.05, every 100,000 coins is about $205,000 of exposure held through the window [22].
The project pays for that holding period in goods. Beyond the 185 seats [5], 29 wallets get a VIP reception and four get 18-karat gold Trump watches [2], and every attendee gets a bag with Trump-branded fragrance, posters and trading cards [3]. The president's time is rationed too. According to the club, "No attendees will be granted a private meet & greet with the President." [8] Trump appeared only briefly at past events, and some participants were disappointed not to meet him, CoinDesk reported [10].
I think much of the token's remaining demand is event demand, and the record supports that only partway. Earlier events drew heavy trading as buyers chased leaderboard spots, often followed by immediate sell-offs once invitations went out, according to Crypto Briefing [27]. This announcement lifted the price about 10% to $2.25 before it sank back toward recent levels [16]. That bump was roughly 20 cents on a pre-announcement price near $2.05 [24]. Neither report measures how much of the standing bid exists because of the dinners.
The November round could break from that pattern in a few ways. The plain repeat is buying into November 12 and selling after. Supply could also decide it: insiders control about 80% of the token [20], leaving roughly a fifth for everyone else [26], so a handful of wallets can move the price more than any leaderboard race. Then there is politics. Many of the top wallets belong to users linked to offshore exchanges [28], and lawmakers have scrutinized the project over foreign investor influence [12]. Democratic lawmakers have called similar events corruption that sells political connection to the biggest investors, CoinDesk reported [13]. The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act failed to advance in the Senate last month after a provision Democrats wanted, limiting senior officials' digital asset ties, could not be worked out [14]. Trump had said he was willing to put his crypto holdings in a blind trust or divest, but that deal fell apart when the bill failed [15].
The losses are spread far more widely than the seats. Around 1 million wallets carry combined losses estimated at $3.2 billion to $3.81 billion [17]. That averages $3,200 to $3,810 a wallet [23], against seat-seekers holding six-figure dollar positions [22].
The guest list grew from 220 in May 2025 to about 297 at Mar-a-Lago in April 2026 [4] and is now 185 [5], which is 112 seats or about 38% fewer than in April [18]. I think the cut reflects fewer large wallets worth courting. The counter-case is the project's own pitch for the "most exclusive dinner in the world" [6], a line that fits a deliberate squeeze as well as a shrinking pool. If the price holds above about $2.05 after invitations go out following November 12, the bid is for the token itself and the event-demand view is wrong [24].
What to watch
- Who holds the top leaderboard spots at the November 12 snapshot, and how many are the offshore-linked wallets lawmakers have flagged.
- Any Senate revival of the Clarity Act that brings back limits on senior officials' digital asset ties or Trump's blind-trust offer.
- Movements by insider wallets, which control about 80% of supply, around the snapshot and the November 22 dinner.
